The countries in which Purple Power Ltd. will represent ClearPlex are Japan, South Korea, People’s Republic of China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, the Philippines, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Burma.
This is a large geographic area. ClearPlex has learned that those markets are interconnected, especially in the use of protective films on high performance vehicles and fleet vehicles. Purple Power has shown that it is a company that is well-suited for driving growth in the ClearPlex business across geographic boundaries in many market segments. The leadership of Purple Power Ltd. operates a successful auto racing team that is active throughout East Asia. That activity provides contacts with automotive importers in every country that can help to drive the growth of ClearPlex in the high performance car market. The strong pull that these relationships will provide to the sale of ClearPlex film will complement the work of installers and retailers throughout the region. We are already seeing the positive impact that Purple Power can have on ClearPlex sales in the countries of East Asia.
All of ClearPlex’ current customers who have purchased ClearPlex products in the past will purchase directly from Purple Power effective August 1, 2015. Purple Power will be providing marketing support, as well, so they will have policies and procedures for the use of the ClearPlex name and trademarks in those countries that are consistent with ClearPlex policies around the world.
